Gulf countries (Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait) are arid and has many critical engineering problems. Research and developments are in progress at different institutes and organizations within the Gulf countries and it is necessary to disseminate the knowledge and experiences gained in these fields for optimizing the engineering design. The main aim of this international conference is to share the experiences of engineers, researchers, college faculty members, and professionals on the engineering challenges faced by Gulf countries for mutual benefit. Sustainable economic development is the key challenge.
