Dear prospective delegates,

I am extremely happy to inform you that the Second International Conference on Engineering Challenges in Gulf Countries (ICECIG 2019-20) will be organized by the Institution of Engineers (India), Kuwait Chapter (IEI KC) in Kuwait during 29-30 November 2019.

The theme of the conference is:

 

Engineering Challenges in Gulf Countries - Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Developments.

Gulf countries are in the arid region. All the Gulf countries have challenges in numerous engineering fields such as

  • oil and gas exploration and exploitation,
  • water desalination,
  • food security,
  • infrastructure development,
  • heat and dust,
  • energy production,
  • optimized use and energy saving,
  • environmental degradation in the land, water bodies, and air,
  • coastal infrastructure and marine facility developments,
  • waste disposal and management and
  • other engineering disciplines.


This conference provides opportunities to address all these engineering challenges, exploring the innovative solutions the countries are using for optimal and sustainable progress. This conference will act as a welcome forum to report and discuss the latest advancements in these engineering fields.

Undoubtedly, ICECIG 2019-20 in Kuwait will provide an opportunity for making numerous personal and professional exchanges with participants from the Gulf countries and from around the globe.

You are invited to orally present your experience of solving the engineering challenges you have faced in your field of expertise, for the benefit of fellow engineers participating in this conference.

Kindly submit your abstract of maximum 300 words to Dr. S. Neelamani to the email nsubram@kisr.edu.kw and copy to sneelamani@yahoo.com on or before 30 October 2019.

Please focus on the following points, while preparing the abstract (as well as PowerPoint for the oral presentation) in the conference:

  • What is the Engineering Challenge you have faced?
  • What type of innovative solutions you have provided to solved the engineering challenge (please share your experience based on your work) and what are the other optimized solutions available
  • What is the future direction to solve this identified problem (What is your thinking in this direction) and how it will be beneficial for the holistic development of the society.


Please also submit YOUR SHORT BIO DATA (maximum 50 words) and A HIGH RESOLUTION PASSPORT SIZE PHOTO for inclusion in the proceeding.
