The Institute of Engineers India (Kuwait Chapter) held their mega family day event at a Wafra Farm. The event is every year held for the family members of IEI, Kuwait chapter giving the family members an opportunity to meet each other. The event was attended by large number of families with their children.
The day started off with the welcome to all the family members by the Chairman Egr Ajay Sharma. Then the Yoga class was conducted by the trainer Egr Mitra who introduced the advantages of Yoga and its benefits to the whole family. The live session of the Yoga rejuvenated the families and made a good start.
Then the master of Ceremony Mr Jaison took over the platform after the Yoga session and started with the Family Fun games for the children and the adults. The DJ Shanis performance and live music by Egr Tarun and Ray enthralled the family. The whole group was divided into 4 groups and each group had a leader. The culmination of the team event was the Tug of war and the teams participated with vigour and valour.
After the sumptuous lunch the evening session started off with the talent show organised by the ladies wing and the children which was well coordinated by Mrs Kanika and Mrs Archana. The hidden talents in the children were very much brought to light by this programme. Many Raffle draws were conducted and the winners were gifted with precious gifts.
The General Secretary Egr Thomas John thanked all the members who flocked to the venue for all the fun and frolic through out the day. A group photo session was also conducted after the vote of thanks by Egr Thomas John.
The live and hot food which was served by Ms Caesars at the venue at the right time was appreciated by all. The day ended with the camp fire and all of the members disbursed having spent a quality day together with so many irrevocable memories etched in their minds to meet again in the next family day.
The families appreciated the full day event and were happy with different types of games and funfair arranged by IEI, Kuwait chapter.
